Child Abuse Prevention Month 2024

      Pinwheels for Prevention is a national campaign dedicated to child abuse prevention. The pinwheels represent the ideal childhood every child deserves, serving as a poignant reminder of the importance of safeguarding and nurturing our children, as well as the potential for prevention through timely intervention.

     Student artists from Oceana County have crafted pinwheel artworks, which will be showcased at various locations across the county from April 15th to April 30th. We warmly invite families to visit these venues and admire the artwork. Upon arrival, attendees can collect Pinwheel Passports from any participating location. Make sure to have your Pinwheel Passport stamped at each venue you visit. Passports with a minimum of four stamps will qualify for entry into the prize drawing. Remember to submit your completed pinwheel passport at any participating location by April 30th.
